Neopet's at Gamecon in SG

Neopet's booth in the Games Con at Singapore lol haha. Well its just as i expected nobody in sg really cares about it lol Since to the people here the only 2 reaction you gets when you mention neopet is :
1) What is neopets
2) Oh i thought they are dead long ago ? they are still alive ?

My guildies went over and below are some of the photos they shared. You get a goodie bag consist of items in the image below.

Well thats basically it , except for the neopets booth the rest are filled with people. Whereas the other went to see the cosplayers eating walking around (waiting for the afternoon session) and the Dota competition outside of the convention hall.

Realized i forgot to add in this , the staffs there tending the booth are from the Hong Kong marketing branch which have no clue on the neopets stuffs haha xD

Guidlie ask them some questions and told me this :
One of them can't pronounce kadotie. Doesn't even know Maraquan and asked if it's a rare paintbrush

They might be force to go there by Dominic haha xD The others are on sale except for the kacheek hat which is sold out but you can pre-order them i think

Based on the apathy you described about visitors' reactions to the stall, I do wonder what KPIs this marketing stunt had and how central TNT assesses its ROI from brand awareness events in lesser markets... from the sound of it, this one certainly wasn't a hit

Neopets TCG! I wonder how that would do against the other TCGs currently lol. I'd probably get some anyways just for the memories.

I'm kinda sad that the people working there don't even know much about Neopets.

The roadmap is interesting! I'm not really sure if i'm interested in any other products, but should be worth a look!

@(you need an account to see links), yeah i think the booth was just meant to be placed there to get some attention, as neoepts gets covered by the other games exhibitors. I think his main purpose was the first 2 days which was only meant for members of the industry whereas the remaining 3 days for open for publics. For him to do pitching, networking and other stuffs. My guildmates got Dominic to sign on the kacheek fans haha and then he ran away with some excuses after like 3 fans.

@(you need an account to see links) , sadly i dont think neo TCG would have an impact aside from their own community of neopet lovers like you mention. But neo tcg still gives out the redemption code don't they ? i remember io bought a few booster back then when i was a kid. Well i guess its just work and go for them since most people just work for money, which is having an ideal job which is what your passion/interest is just that few % of the people.

The plushies seems to give a redeem code which lets them get some r101 np items, its only a selected few like kadoatie , meepit and slorg. I believe his main agenda in the con is just for networking and business trade related xD
