How many people have active accounts/UCs/etc?

I was actually going more after securing actives in general, not your plan to mass secure I'm saying that they shouldn't be secured. And yeah, hitting a few hundred accounts would bring in a small handful of new members, but there's a reason most of those people aren't cheating already. They aren't interested in it. It would cause far more harm than good. As hitting actives always does. And yeah, neo gets boring, but by messing with it further you just make it temporarily fun only to make it exponentially worse in the nearer future.

I think we are a little late in the game to think that passing up a few accounts would help save neo. At this point nothing could save it unless TNT pulls some massive plot out their asses. There are tons of no name actives out there. If I hit all the actives on my lists ATM a few night post to complain. But the real active and well known people should have learned how to keep their stuff secured properly. I'm gonna do this myself someday soon anyway regardless of whether people wanted to join in it not. But if rather have others join in on the fun. There isn't much left to do on neo that is fun anymore. But securing accounts for the hell of it sounds good to me. I'd rather have fun and forget about them. They aren't the ones on ck looking to buy so it won't realllllllly make a difference. Maybe they will see its much more fun to play illegit and give up in their legit endeavors!

Hitting on huge actives may destroy the market for high end items that go for $500 a piece, since these serious players would most likely quit and not return. However if you're a small seller, it makes no difference,as their target buyers are those with small budgets and small accounts just wanting to stop playing games/restocking/reselling to earn NP.

Depending on your priorities, choose carefully who to hit. I have no qualms hitting on huge actives (If I actually have them), as I'm an aforementioned small seller, but if I'm someone owning maverick plushie and other very high end hts items, I may reconsider before hitting the huge accounts, since ultimately they will be the ones who have a possibility of buying those stuff, on neopets or otherwise.

It won't stop the most dedicated hacker, but most of us aren't dedicated hackers. Account info is pulled off a list taken sometime in the past (unless you're that dedicated hacker).

@(you need an account to see links), Well I don't have anything but I wouldn't mind making a bunch of accounts for items to be put onto. I would love to help with something like this after everything I have been through with TNT lol
