Happy easter everyone! It is so fascinating to me to see the trend of "easter baskets" on social media, looks like a santa sack or something you'd get on your birthday haha. Easter is very low key for us, some chocolate and a meal together and thats about it! I like all the pastel themed things that come out this time of year lol

I hope everyone had a great easter! I just went over to my nephew's house and we watched the kids have easter egg hunts and sack races
Happy Easter!!
My friends and I all went to a speciality meat market and grilled up a bunch of random stuff for fun to try. It was really nice weather and we got some wine to pair with everything.

I had a lot of fun painting eggs with my dad :p I wish I had better paints/brushes but I didn't think about it until last minute, so I had to use a brush from some random joycon fixing kit (idfk lolololll) and q-tips with food dye + a little vinegar. We found an old kit with pieces to make "dinosaurs" though the stickers weren't really sticky so my dad taped the stuff on LMAOOO
We did it for fun and also because my nephews came by. My family is pretty religious but I'm 100% not, and I'm also vegetarian so they chowed down on a ton of stuff and I enjoyed some mac n cheese No complaints here besides continuing the charade that I celebrate outside of loving an excuse to play with paints

Yep, the difference between the two calendars is 13 days and this leads to the dates being at a different interval each year because both Churches uses the full moon and the Sunday as reference but 13 days is kind of odd number. Often though the difference is just one week, there was a time I remember the date was the same and it's kinda rare for the difference to be almost a month like this year.
Do you know that some Orthodox Churches also celebrate Christmas on a different date? Again because of the calendars. Russia and Serbia for example celebrate it on 7th of January (25.12 + 13 days
