Do give it a chance. Off the top of my head it does take a lot/if not the whole first season to move away from the 'case of the week' type story but once it does it gets a lot better.

Right now I'm hooked on "The Good Wife" staring Julianne Marguiles, written by Robert & Michelle King, Tony Scott is one of the producers.

I'm also stuck on AHS: Hotel, this plot this season is really interesting.
