I went on vacation and did't have access to a computer so I asked my house-sitter to spin the Wheel of Knowledge for me every day (I want that stupid avatar and can't load flash on my phone) - that's an embarrassing thing to ask.

Pretty much all of my good friends from college and coworkers know I play Neopets, they don't really care and I don't go out of my way to hide it. If they knew how much money I spent between Clraik and Neocash, that'd be a different story.

I have no shame when it comes to my Neopets addiction LOL like literally anyone who knows me, knows that I still play Neo and that I love it. I could care less if anyone wants to judge me for doing something that I enjoy.

Nah. I am male,25 years old. And still play Neo. How bizarre is that?
Every time someone asks me why I still play this, my only reply is that I started playing Neo when I was 9 and I am simply playing now out of nostalgia.
So, nah, not embarrassed at all.
Although lately I am not that active anymore and I tend to avoid the Neoboards because it's full of vain little girls.

I have a kacheek keychain that attracts attention with people... I was at my FWB's place and was holding my keys while we were talking, and they straight up asked, "Is that a neopet?" I said yeah, and they just started chuckling and said "Oh my god." Idk what that meant and Idt I wanna know
And then a few days ago at the movies I pulled out my keys to show the cashier my movie perks card keychain, and when I was done buying my soda, my friend grabbed my keys from me and pointed out my kacheek, and she started INTENTLY staring at it, and said "What is this from? This looks so familiar..."
I tried to get away with not answering, but she kept hounding me, so I just said "It's from a video game" (It's a robot pet so it looks lowkey like megaman or something). She didn't ask me anymore but I felt my face burning.
Yet I love my kacheekchain too much to take it off my keys. Little dude is worth suffering for
