I'm still upset they never left the Mutant Draik a UC. The converted one looks NOTHING like the old one. They changed the hands for some reason.

YES. Ugh. This is a perpetual thorn in my side. At the time of the conversion, I had a mutant draik that I had been planning to eventually paint darigan. And the only reason I hadn't painted yet was I also loved the mutant draiks and knew I'd very likely never get to change him back to mutant, so I was just enjoying the cool rot dragon for a bit before changing him to his final color. Imagine my unpleasant surprise when he was forcibly converted and I not only lost the chance to have him be UC darigan, but also lost my cool mutant. The converted version is just so chunky looking, I dislike it in so many little ways.Originally Posted by Abyss
Yeah I don't know why they changed the hands in particular. It's so weird. I never had a Draik before conversion, but the Mutant Draik was one of my dream pets. The only Draik that managed to survive conversion was the Maraquan at least.
i've always loved the unreleased art for the uc grey draik :pleading_face:

I agree that specifically the freckles were cute though, and I liked them once I got over the shift to BRIGHT ASS PURPLE

Letting myself fully indulge in the uni list. Darigan uni counts because they kept the wrong pose and ruined it

Krawks DESERVE that smirk. Blumaroos have cute heart feet and strong tails for a reason. Cybunnies used to be so pretty?? Ixis too, now they look like bobbleheads. There is NO REASON for koi to have the dumb fist. Kau’s old eyes!!! Shoyrus mouths should not be visible (that goes for blums too actually). Lutari are quads!!!!!!!! Xweetoks also don’t deserve a fist, and look how cool and coy they used to be. And idk what it is about zafaras but they lost their souls.

also 500% the baby lupe. I was OBSESSED with baby lupes when I was a damn child and I never got the opportunity to own one pre-conversion. the converted ones aren't the worst of course, but the old art just hits different v_v (as does every old art, really)
