I'm currently in my final year of medical school, which means that (if I don't freak out in finals) this time next year I'll be a qualified doctor. I am absolutely terrified about that. Every other thing they say to us currently is "but make sure you don't do this for a patient with ______, because you could kill them".

I was a biochemistry major, and although I ended up in forensics, a lot of my really close friends are swinging their way through med school right now. I don't envy them one bit, hahaha.
That's why I work in forensics.
I can't kill anyone if they're already dead.

Forensics must be really cool to work in. I've seen a couple of autopsies and they're pretty interesting, I like the whole puzzle trying to figure out what happened, but I do think I prefer my patients a bit more alive than that
