    Can't you just use texting apps like textplus? I'm not sure how that works because I don't really deal with yahoo much.

    Didn't know cell phone numbers are needed to make a yahoo email.

    But anyways, buy a prepaid SIM card. Something like this.


    I'm not from the US, so this example might not be accurate, but this will be what I'd do in my country. Will be great if someone can confirm.
    You might need your identity card to register.

    ah ok I get it. was creating an email account for a shell and came across this too.



    Obviously you only use on email accounts that you don't intend to use, since everyone can access the sms
