I would be livid if i spent 8k points on two things now worth 800 pts and only got 1k in return. I feel like I've been saying this about a lot of neo-related things lately, but what a mess.

All drama aside, I'm glad they posted this. It shows they're listening AND that they are able to admit errors and fix them. No, the solution isn't perfect, but giving everyone more than 500 free points or so would have made it vastly easier to get prizes (which WE like and expect, but is not in the "spirit" of this year's event).

my god, why couldn't they just tell us well in advance, "by the way, our resources are all tied up in the site's conversion, so this year's CC will be a CC lite, without perks. We are as disappointed as you are, but unfortunately that is what we can realistically offer our community this year. this hurts so bad. cmon tnt can you make it hurt any worse. the drop in points req for prizes, means prizes are worth nothing. meaning, this entire, Fucking, thing, is *extra pointless.

Now the prizes will be worthless on top of being kinda meh and requiring a lot of grindy ass clicking, they could have just reduced the shitty gamble boxes.

I actually spent hours on donating and had earned thousands upon thousands of points, bought a few items and was gonna take it easy.

But now I'm so fucking pissed.

Refund the difference, TNT, or you're gonna have more angry people than you can handle.

This adjustment was made as a necessary balance change; the Charity Corner donation items are intended to be worth the same amount that it takes to obtain them. The team never intended to intentionally obstruct the event due to this balance change, and we’d like to apologize for any miscommunication this change may have caused.
