i'm so dumb

So Corona virus has us college students taking our classes online at the moment, and last night I kept waking up because I knew I had a quiz this morning and was kind of stressing because the current chapter we're learning (i'm in stats) has been kinda confusing for me.

At some point last night, my sleepy-kinda awake/kinda hungry/kinda thinking "i'm about to get some real good ass sleep" decides to reach into the jar of THC infused nuts my brother gave me, and eat a handful. I'm going to be real with you, I have a pretty low tolerance. I generally only eat a couple, I have NO idea how much I actually ate lol.

This morning I wake up about 8:50, quiz is released at 9:00. We print it, do it, scan it, turn it in, and it's due at about 12:00. (our teacher is incredibly generous, especially since she was forced to learn to do an online format with basically 0 time to prepare). As I'm writing this, it's about 10:54

Anyway, so for like the first 45 minutes I'm doing my quiz- I've was thinking: Why the fuck do I feel so weird? Wtf is wrong with me? Am I super tired or what? and also at the same time WOW THIS QUIZ IS AWESOME, WHY DOES EVERYTHING MAKE SO MUCH SENSE RIGHT NOW? DAMN AM I AN ACTUAL GENIUS? THIS SHIT IS EASY. WHY WAS I STRESSING? I AM FINISHING THIS SO FAST. And then it hits me: bruh I am high as fuck what the fuck.

I am NOT normally this kind of person. I take school super seriously and I'm generally an A student and don't really dick around. I don't study high, never go to class high, and actually barely even partake in weed at this point in my life. I didn't intend on eating so many edibles that I would still be high in the morning...
But I mean....
I feel like I totally grasp the concept we were working on and I feel like I'm going to get a damn 100% on this quiz. I'm still really fucking high, I'm hoping that I can at least hit some point of sobriety before 12:00 before I turn it in so I can double check it LOL. This confidence.... This either means I did really fucking good, or really fucking bad.

UPDATE 1: Turning it in a half hour early. Still high. 3 people including myself voted YOLO, and I agree. YOLO

UPDATE 2: Haven't gotten grade back yet, but the answers have been released. Looks like I only got one question wrong. YALL WHO DOUBTED ME, WELL, I DID IT, AND DID IT WELL. Those who knew I had it in the bag, u da best.

Depending how much points the quiz is worth, why not just explain your situation with the professor? You could explain that your parents brought home something you thought were regular brownies which ended causing you to be high during the quiz? If they understand, then they might allow you to re-take it or do an alternative assignment. The worse thing they could say is no.

She drops the lowest quiz score so I'll be fine either way. I just couldn't believe how irresponsible I was...It's just... I'm not normally like that lmao.
The professor is so, so kind. She probably would be "understanding" but I think she's given me enough "I understands" this term when it comes to me fucking up and scanning shit in wrong and turning things in a few minutes late because of upload problems, etc and this would probably push her to the edge of being like "ok fuck this student" LOL.
