No if somebody is trying to crack into your account through a different IP I believe it wont affect you.
But then again im not 100% sure on this.
Hi, I don't normally ask questions much here... mostly lurk and buy... but recently one of my accounts was hacked into and the password changed. Before I sent a ticket in, I decided to just change it myself through the forgot password thing and send it to my email address. I changed it to a new password and was able to get back into it. Well I logged off and about 15 minutes later, I tried to log back in with the old password by accident and then got the message... "Sorry, you have tried too many times to guess this password within the last hour. Try again in 49 minutes."
So does this mean someone was trying to guess the password in the 15 minutes I was gone?? If so I am assuming it was the person who got into the other day.

This happens more often than not now. And it usually happens after recent a change in password. Neo seems to have an issue with updating changed passwords instantaneously now a days.

Sorry for the delay... was in the hospital... all is good... but reguarding my account.. I ended changing the password and so far no more problems. I guess I got paranoid

I had a similar problem! A week ago, I found that the password of one account was changed, I could reset it and then got the same error for trying too many times. I though it was an error on the site but it is possible that someone hacked my account?

You get the same error (wrong password) even when you use the reset password that TNT emails you?
