I used to casually pass out UC's, silent adoptions, random NP giveaways. On the PC. Not on here for rep or thanks or notoriety. Just as a ghost. Just to make it a better, happier place. Random karma.

Some of us are like the fucking tooth faeries. I swear. Some very happy and generous and beautiful people here. But I don't do that shit anymore. Everybody on the PC is a cunt now.



So keep acting holy. Keep giving people problems. You're seeing a few UC's get converted. A few people defaced. It's hilarious.

It's just enough to grab your attention and make you think.

But that's nothing. Just a taste. A few minutes of times. It would be pretty easy to shut down the whole motherfucking PC. Hundreds of pets and mains. They could start a virtual riot. TNT would be really busy that day.

While it rings true that some of these people are very kind and generous and just want to get along with you and not have petty troubles... some of these guys you're fucking with are absolutely insane and would rape your grandmother for casual saturday afternoon leisure.. You need to quit worrying about what everybody else is doing.

Shit could get REAL.

Well, the most important thing is, that we musn't forget that neopets is just a game. As far as I see things, many people take the site way to serious, than is good for them or the site itself.
Just take a look to the last AC Cup, when the old NC-Items were rereleased. The first item, the skeletal facepaint, was a trigger for people to get paranoid, that the �ber-popular gold ribbin wig would be rereleased.
As we know, it did. And many users were not exactly happy about it. In fact, people have seemed to be downright angry about the rereleases. Rarities were not rare anymore and any kind of prestige the item gave the owners faded into nothingness.
I admit, the NC-Trading Board is a different problem. But from the informations I gathered it seems similar. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Either way, the main question I see is: "what purpose do pets have anyway?"
Other than looking good, I'm afraid I don't see much.
Again, I admit that I found several UCs to look good. Like the UC Fairy Kougra oder Darigan Eyrie. Compared to the converted pets, i really like the design.
Yet I don't have them, as I like to dress my pets up.

And now that I read that people report UC Owners, just because they do not remember the pets or the owners, I see that things are going way to far.
That users have to hack others to teach them a lesson, well... I'm not sure what to say. But I'm glad that something is being done about this kind of paranoia. So I can at least understand why this is done, including the pet conversation.

Actually, I didn't do a lot of the stuff I was accused of in this thread. I've probably reported...seven?...pets total in my entire Neo-life. It doesn't really matter to me what you guys get up to---I'm just trying to live my own life on Neo.
It's true that I've lied to people and found people on Facebook so that I could ask to TRADE with them, and it's true that I can be extremely rude to people sometimes, like last night.

But this idea of me as a person who tracks down hundreds of UCs and reports them all, as if I had nothing else to do with my life...that's the kind of thing you believe if you take rumor as fact. If you had bothered to get to know the people whose accounts you broke into, maybe you would have known that a lot of that was just rumor. Maybe you would have known not to hack those random bystanders.
