I swear, these scam insurance agencies are getting worse.

Just got off the phone with someone asking about helping me get auto insurance with my tax information.
He went about trying to ask me what kinda car I drove, to which I replied, "A 2016 Microsoft Mitsubishi".
He took note, and then tried to find out where I bought it. Wish I would have thought to tell him Sony Network or something stupid.
Instead I asked to speak to someone who spoke fluent English. The guy said "yes", waited 4 or 5 seconds, and then said "hello" again.

Smh, if you're gonna try to scam me, or anyone else for that matter. At least sell it when you say you're getting someone else for me to talk to. Or at least know car brands.

    Dumbass scamming cunts.

Oh man, my favorite is there one where they call and say they are trying to help me fix my computer. They say they are from Microsoft and they got an alert that my computer has a virus. I love screwing with them so much because they try so hard to stay in character and seem legit.
    What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left

Hopefully they didn't do anything too malicious. I think their ultimate endgame is to remotely access your system through a series of different things you can do on your end. They basically hack your system and you do it for them. At least now she knows not to fall for it again. I always ask them which microsoft computer has the virus because I have a bunch of them. Then you can listen to them fumble around trying to save themselves.

I don't think they were able to get away with too much before she started realizing something was fishy.
But she definitely knows not to do it again!
She's always freaking out about viruses because she works from home.

    That's a good point, though!
I'll make sure to tell her in the future to bring that up and find different questions so they have to fumble.
Shouldn't be too hard for her to come up with ways to make them prove their legitimacy.
