I know it will never happen, but I'd love to get an update from people claiming they "made" x-amount of NP (the big ones, 100m+) off Charity Corner before they've sold anything by using JN values and adding up those values as if it's actually their end profit.
I'm a fairly serious R99 collector and I've been buying, selling, and trading R99s for a long time now. The thing about R99s is that the majority of them are useless and over inflated. JNs item values are based on the numerical value users post in their "Wishlist" when creating a new trade. If you look under 'Trading Post History' for any number of these useless R99s valued at 2m+ you'll often find that the value was closer to 500k~1m a few months ago, then suddenly one or two users started asking 2m+ for it because "it's the only one for sale!" until more stock, hit the TP, and it's value drops back to 500k~1m. It may take another few months for that to happen, but it always does when you look long enough. Besides stamps there are a few exceptions to this rule, but there are a little over 1,800 R99s, most of which fall into the useless and over inflated category.
This is just my guess based on what I've seen as an R99 collector, but I would halve their "profits", if not more. Everyone says they're going to hold on to their items until they regain their value, but in all honesty I don't see that happening with a lot of these items with exception to stamps. Weapons, plushies, morphing potions, etc. were inflated before this event, I feel like with this deflation they're at what I would consider a fair price to a collector as those items have no other use than to a collector. Any serious collector doesn't pay the prices JN shows, because they all know that's not actually what some garbage item on the site is worth. It's a game, so you're free to try selling it for however much you want, but the people who actually buy these items won't pay anything close to it.
I'll say it again, I'm talking about everything except stamps. If you're lucky and got 3-5 high value stamps then yes you'll profit 100m+. As for the rest of the R99s from this event, expect to get nothing close to JNs value for them even if you hold on to them for months. You might sell a few for what they used to be worth, but the majority, if you actually want to sell them, will go cheap.
For me personally, I made a few hundred mill by selling the R90+ items in various categories I had been hoarding since the last event in anticipation of this event. Now I'm buying up the rest of the R99s I need for my gallery on the cheap.
Sorry for being a buzz-kill.

Spent over 30m and I MIGHT get 20 to 25m back.
Had no idea CC was going to happen so I had absolutely nothing in my SDB. I'm not much of a hoarder :\
I spent like 1 mil maybe and made about the same back, between selling daily items and stuff that wasn't complete trash. I also spent like 2 mil on items that are back in circulation now and then just made it all back in stocks. Stocks always find a way to save my ass when I spend too much on dumb shit I also got a 20 mil item but am not counting it as im not sure if I wanna sell it.
I spent MAYBE 2m at the most? I've made back over 10m so far selling stuff. I still have lots to go

Didn't spend a dime (used what I had in my SDB ), got about 2m in profit. I didn't participate a whole lot, but meh. It's something.
I only ended up spending about 5-6 mil and used everything in my SDB, which were mostly freebies, and will hopefullly make 20-30 mil back if I can sell all this shit.
