There's someone out there, I forget who, who is convinced that the SM is tied to the real world SM somehow but he can't figure it out exactly. But he is like so positive about it. I think he was either a head honcho or admin or something at a SM fansite.
I dunno, I don't use SM much. I did it to get the avatar but I haven't seen much profit yet. Everyone keeps saying you have to wait - years+ at a time. Booooo.

I guess it is but it adds up over time. I've made >12 million from it over the years especially when a stock skyrockets like Virtupets, KSON, Lupe.
True but by the time it gets too 900 98% of people have sold. Lol
maybe with a 10k stock buy per day that would be good cause the current 1k is so low.

Admittedly, I don't participate for this reason (unless I'm after that neat avatar)... but I am usually stoked when I score an inactive that invested a few thousand NP and now has hundreds of thousands in the stock market!
i just use food club when i dont forget (which is very often) but i havemade like 3m off that so far
i just invest in low stocks daily so my portfolio builds up and just wait til they rise up really high, just check every day like a daily. Even though they never go up, once they do you get a real good return if you been investing in it every day.
Although I know you can make some decent cash from small gains if you invest in the right stocks instead of waiting for a huge profit but too lazy and no time these days to track those...
10k daily limit would be awesome. I've been doing the stocks for years but only on and off so my portfolio's not huge, I get so lazy about checking/buying because it takes forever for something to hit 60. Although SWNC FINALLY hit high after what seems like forever investing in it so that was good
