I guess it's kinda stupid for me to be embarassed, but I feel like alotta people think it's just a kids site.

Everyone knows I play it. I dedicate part of my Instagram to it, I collect the merch, I play it at the public library sometimes. Usually people care more about the fact that the site is even still around. A lot of people have either forgotten about it or think it's dead. :0(

Every time someone sees me playing, or it comes up on conversation, they usually say something along the lines of, "Wow, I didn't know that site was still around. I used to have an account on there, I wonder if it's still there." It's usually never anything negative. I've had a few people try to bash me about it in the past, then I pull up my paypal account and they shut up real quick.

I don't care if people know I play anymore. Half the time I mention it on dating profiles. I remember being really embarrassed about it in middle/early high school, even though a lot of people I knew either played or didn't know what it was. When I started playing again in college I was still a bit coy about it, but now I just give no shits.

Haha I tell people all the time. I sent my sister a screen shot of my account on my neo-anniversary and she posts it on my facebook every year. It is kind of embarassing if someone looks at my screen and asks what I'm doing, but by this point most of my friends and family know I still play.

If anyone ever asks why I'm on Neopets still, I just say that I'm reliving a part of my childhood. No more questions after that.
