They either stalk the pet in question, stay on the PC 24/7 so they know all the pets in circulation, or are just jealous that someone has a nice pet (especially if they feel like your account isn't good enough for one).

meh, i see no shame in neomailing about pets with the NOT UFT banners, especially if they seem very inactive. worst they can say is no and everyone has a price. esp for pixels.

I've definitely been guilty about messaging random users about names I want if the account seems abandoned, but never with UCs. I've also mailed people who just have nice great things with names I like (eg, my cat's name is an Aisha so I messaged them just to be like "I randomly looked up my cat and seeing that the name is an Aisha made my day"). I hope none of my latter instances was one of you guys and I made you uncomfortable. I'm not a reporter-creeper, just a fan of the random compliment with poor social skills.

Most of my account we get are inactive and secured for a while but on the odd occasion the owner comes back.

I do agree doing it to actives is another story though that just lessens the player base.

yep its one reason i could never buy pets cause i'd feel bad for the owner
theres a difference between last seen 2 months ago and like no activity since the age of time
i would really be upset if my acc got hacked so i just feel bad
soooo i assume it came from a really old acc
