Is it worth replacing a lap top screen?

I guess last night I decided it was a good idea to step on my laptop and broke the screen, I was curious if it was worth fixing the screen or if I would be better off getting another laptop?

I mean, you can still use it with a external monitor (VGA/HDMI whatever the laptop uses )

Then, as I said, really depends on the laptop's specs & the price of the screen+how much it'll cost to install it (unless you know how to do it yourself )

@(you need an account to see links) if the screen repair is expensive, it's really not hard to replace a laptop screen. You can get a replacement screen for $45-60 off eBay and watch a Youtube video on how to replace.
