If TNT were bright they would require the captcha only during LOGIN

Doing so will:

a) Make the site run faster (this is an obvious)
b) Still serve the same purpose
c) Make everyone happier and cause less confusion

If a bot can break the captcha once, then it will be able to break it again and again so there really is no need for making us do it over and over.
