I bought some mineral foundation last year from lilyLolo and I quite enjoyed it. Not heavy coverage but evens out my face a decent bit. I'm pale with a lot of freckles, natural red head.

I do want to buy something different in the future, so is there anything any of you makeup lovers would recommend that is quality but inexpensive? Aside from my pale, freckled face, my face tends to dry out rather quickly. I've tried many things including prescription products(mild eczema) but nothing ever works. I also have this quarter sized patch on my cheek that's red all the time due to my sister pouring perfume up my nose as a kid. Lol I can't seem to get that covered either. I obviously don't wanna go all out crazy and put a whole new face on, but please if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!
Try using vitamin e oil cream. It's a great moisturizer, one of the few that can actually keep my skin hydrated. You can find it usually in pharmacies, just ask them for vitamin e cream!

As for foundations, I personally cannot use "cheaper" ones because they dry my skin out and sometimes make me break out. Like I said earlier, I use Urban Decay NAKED Skin foundation and it's a nice water based foundation so it's light and not drying. The key to good foundations is making sure you moisturize and use a good primer. It honestly does make a world of a difference.

Also. How come you're stuck with online buying??

I used to just buy super cheap stuff until pretty recently actually.
I'm kinda like @(you need an account to see links) where I really don't put on makeup that often because I do just fine without it, but I still love to put it on and play around with it because it's fun.

I started selling Jamberry like 9 or 10 months ago, and in doing so, I started wanting to support more direct sales businesses.
One of my friends hosted a Younique party and I ended up buying some of their makeup and I'm absolutely in loooooove.
I hosted a party myself to get some of the makeup free and cheaper, and now I actually recognize the value of higher-quality, "healthier" makeup and I've loved what I've tried so far.

I'm obsessed with their Addiction shadow palettes and their cream shadows, as well as their primer, liquid foundation, and 3D lashes.
I'm also experimenting more with different lip colors lately.

I also never really did anything with my brows until recently and it's been a huuuuuuuge game changer for me.
I thought I'd look like a clown if I ever tried to figure out brow liner, but it's like a staple for me now.

I'm sure I still have a tonnnnnn to learn, but it's a lot of fun to play around!

I'll keep an eye out for some vitamin e cream next time I make a trip.

Because of where I live. There is absolutely nothing here except general/grocery stores. If you do come across makeup it's like the super cheap kind that's made for kids lmao

That's unfortunate! Yeah I'm not sure how to help you. Where is the closest big city?

Any of you girls ever used Magic Minerals make up?
I saw it on the shopping channels years ago and thought it was a load of rubbish. But I saw it in the store the other week and thought id give it a try
OH MY GAWD my skin looks flawless with it on. I threw out all my old foundations lol
Only downside is that it only lasts abouts 2/3 weeks with every day use and its 10 a time =/

Hey! I just need to be random for a sec to say I just bought some of Kat Von D lipstick (the studded kind? im a noob so idk) and my lips are so dry from it BUT I adore using them everyday.

Should I put a basic chapstick on before it?

No! Use a lip scrub to help get rid of the excess dry skin. Make sure when you aren't wearing lipstick that you keep your lips soft by using a good lip balm

I actually am quite intense about lip scrubs and using chapstick everyday haha. i just feel that my lips are sad little dry things when I wear this specific brand. Other kinds aren't as bad, as I know lipstick in general dries out lips time to time.

PS I love Lush's lip scrubs. Though some taste quite nasty Dx

Switch to the Jeffree Star lipsticks! They don't dry your lips out
