I can't say it is one of my favorite's but I really enjoy all that lovey, vampire crap.
xD (Not a overly big fan of twilight though)

But my favorite book is Valentine (The thriller/horror) one that they ended up making a poor movie on.

If love/ horror/ thriller is your thing
I recommend you to read it
SUCH a big twist at the end :3

Did you enjoy the hunger games movie as much as the book?

I`m pretty much down with any book genre, as long as it`s good! The Hunger Games movie was definitely a pretty good adaptation - much better than certain books, no doubt about that. But I`m a strong believer that any book is 100% better than the movie adaptation!

Also who`s the author of Valentine?

@(you need an account to see links) - I think I'm going to try and read them over the break. The grandmother's perspective is very intriguing! :o
And I've heard of those novels, but they seem a little 'young' =/
There has to be an adult novel or series out there with a faerie theme! I feel like there's so much that can be written about them, it's a shame to limit to an age group.
If I ever find an awesome faerie book I'll make sure and let you know. :p

My favorites are probally the LotR books. But I also liked Brian Jacques Books when I was younger.

@(you need an account to see links): I agree that the book will always be better than the movie--there's no way you can top the book. You spend hours and hours reading a book and it is filled with so many details and you get so attached to the characters (if it's a good book!), so a two hour movie really can't compare. However! I love the Hunger Games series, books AND movie. They did such an incredible job creating that world and casting the characters, imo. I love Jennifer Lawrence.

@(you need an account to see links): Oh they definitely are, I'm just saying that they're geared more towards "older teens" than just 12-15 year old. It's really sad to me that I can't enjoy these books anymore. I think that's part of the reason I've stopped reading so much... I can appreciate good literature and I'll read that too of course, but I can't deny that I love my fantasy romance shit. It's like a guilty pleasure LOL. But any novels that have romance in them for an adult all seem to be loaded with a shitload of sex scenes and over-the-top descriptions. I gave up after a couple of books and I am at a loss for what to read now.

    But yes, please do!! <3

@(you need an account to see links): I've never read LotR or seen any of the movies, but I could go on about Harry Potter for days and days. I'm a Harry Potter nut for sure LOL.

Hahaha wel movie time in school was always nap time in my eyes anyways. With the hobbit out in theaters now I am pretty sure they will be showing the trilogy on TV. Check your local listings and see if it is. Well worth the watch though, it does have it slow points like all movies but it picks up great too
