    No title just happy feels

    Pre-warned bad sentencing ahead lmao

I had a goal weight i wanted to get too by the end of 2016 which was to be around 100kg (220lb) and I'm sitting here now at 90kg (198lb) i waited a few days to make sure i was actually 90kg which i am now. So thats like 45kg gone (98lb) since i started my journey to feeling awesome and become awesome haha

I had no help self learnt everything even turned vegan 5-6months ago which i never thought I'd ever go because my family be offering maccas and KFC and lots of other real grease shit haha but i made it through with a strong mind.

Its not easy even remotely so if you want to join in on buying new clothes all the time because old ones don't fit you need the mind set it isn't easy and will be struggles but keep in mind you want it and must do it.

Before all this shit had so many problems depression on and off real bad at times but since veganism got me i stopped getting headaches and many other issues, my body is in as close to perfect health as it could be.

In terms as being vegan i eat mostly fruit, nuts, coconut, i blend it in smoothies often add some squeezed lemon and god damn you just....yeah happy feels all day

That's an amazing change, congratulations for all the hard work and will power! Do you have any recommendations for salty vegan recipes? I've been starting to focus on my exercise lately since it helps a lot with mind as you just said, and I've been thinking about changing my food too but I have no clue of what good things I could make

Cool change, not an easy change at all. One thing to note though with such a drastic change is did you consult with a Doctor? Drinking a smoothie for nearly all meals is in fact not that healthy, even if fruit and nuts are involved. Solid foods are needed for maintaining gut health.

It is super hard to lose weight and still do it in a healthy way, learning those new cooking and eating habits is a big big struggle for many. If you found your personal success method that is really good. Always consult with a Doctor if drastic changes are happening though.

What is Thai style soy sauce btw? I have never heard of it. I have cooked with white, light, dark, mushroom, tamari, sweet, and keekap manis soy sauces. But never heard of thai soy sauce. Is it a brand? I am very curious. The Thai like their fish sauce so make sure you watch the labels since you are vegan. They put fish sauce in many ingredients.

I don't have just smoothies thats only sometimes, i prepare normal like fruit salads but I have a lot of thai style food and soups as well.

Haha i might change that i just meant thai style food with soy sauce for salty meal ideas. Thai style food is easy to make and so tasty

In regards to eating out at Asian or Thai eat outs many around where i live have vegan options with tofu etc i also cook mostly my own stuff with tofu , fish sauce most of the time can be substituted

I've spoken with my doctor many times with health checks as well as seeing health specialists as well i luckily get those for free because I'm aboriginal Australian.
Good thing my doctor is also vegan haha

Oh okay. I was all excited for a moment to have another soy sauce to look for, I really like the stuff lol. Eating spicy foods can, sort of if you read the right papers, show evidence of helping weight loss too. I assume you like spicy dishes since you like the Thai food? Thai food can be spicy or ungodly spicy (certain jungle curry). Thai/birds eye chili are one of my favorites for that kick.

I just like really spicy food haha idk if it helps with weight loss but i don't seem to put anything on so good sign i guess.
When i drop weight it seems to happen in chunks oddly enough where ill hang around say 94-95 then after what ever amount of time ill just drop like 2-4 kg at a time.

Things i like to avoid are breads and fake meats i just don't go there. Ill just have tofu which seems to absorb what ever flavours you cook it with. Here in Aus the local super markets starting to stock lots of vegan friendly options which helps.

I do sometimes treat myself to a pizza because why not all vegan stuff on there obviously :b or subway as well but generally ill avoid bread stuff.

I do walk 12-15km almost daily i do take breaks when my body needs it normally every 3-4 days ill take a day off or sometimes i just keep going then take couple days off to recover from pushing myself.
