I don't resign myself, I simply try to have a more realistic grasp.

People tried speaking out against the corruption in Ukraine and we got the next closest thing to a civil war.

(Though I hope the country just bloody splits, they should focus on using their agricultural resources better - having the world's richest soil and not making that a staple of your economy is ludicrous.)

Hahaha... Oh American politics. So much more interesting than in my country...

EDIT: Did I say interesting? I meant entertaining.

I feel like a lot of the political ideology driving the idea to impeach Obama is based off a disagreement of political parties. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't impeachment supposed to be reserved for presidents that break the rules/truly HURT citizens? Honestly, if impeachment was the decision of the opposite party, we wouldn't have many presidents :/

In general, all politicians are the same. However, having a uterus, being an environmental scientist, and believe in freedom of/from religion, I cannot, in good conscience, vote Republican.

This exactly. How any woman can vote Republican is beyond me.

The only point I can understand out of those is your point about you having a uterus. I'm going to assume because of democrat views on abortion? I'm for abortion, but still republican.
Im not exactly sure what you mean about the other points though.

That is an extremely ignorant and rude thing to say. I consider myself to be a fairly intelligent woman who is aware of what is going on in our country and the world around us, and I am very proud to vote Republican for the most part. Sure, there are some crazies like Sarah Palin and the like but Democrats have just as many of their share of idiots too. Don't make Republicans out to be assholes who don't care about any of our basic rights. I am a Republican and I sure as hell believe in freedom of religion AND that all of us should be able to love whoever we want, no matter their sex.

I have so much more to say, but I digress.

    Thanks Anne <3

I'm right there with you. I consider myself republican, but I would like to see same sex marriages, I'm pro choice depending on circumstances, I think marijuana should be legalized, I am a recipient of food assistance, etc.

Wow. Not every Republican wants to control your uterus or what you do with birth control.
