These last few days of items have been low effort, boring and cartoon-y.

I'm afraid the last two days are going to underwhelm as well, so we might as well just pack it in here, fam.

This is the first SS I've taken apart of in years and yeah the items have definitely gone down hill. I think the thing that frustrates me the most was the lack of Foregrounds. Those are my biggest struggle when it comes to dressing my pets, so I really wanted more of those (that were cute, because some of these have been pretty bad), even if they were Winter related.

Same! I have over 50 pages of Lower Foreground Items in DTI but only 20 or so Higher Foreground. Some wintery garlands would have been lovely.

Literally! I was thinking at first that maybe I'm being too entitled... but then I realised, these are mystery items we're paying up to $1.50USD for. It's actually super disappointing that they would knowingly release a bunch of sub-par mystery content when it's premium.

But, they've trained us to accept this shit! It's kinda fucked up how we just get used to this shit. Like, there's companies/titles that are known for microtransactions, they suck. There's developers who constantly release games that are unfinished and broken (and have done so for the past... decade?) and there's Neopets - where I can't think of a single element of the game that works the way it should, or could.

I'mma still keep giving them my money, though. Because I am exceptionally stupid. (Until they nerf the values for real)

The balance between Foregrounds, Higher Foreground Items, and Lower Foreground Items is one of the huge problems with customization. Personally I think the only way to fix it without messing with people's existing customs too much would be to allow a customization "advanced mode" where you can overlap items, choose their layer position, and wear more than one of a certain slot at a time.

I will never stop being pissed off at how bad the (you need an account to see links) looks, not because I am an especial Marvel fan, I like them as well as anyone, but because it looks like complete shit on most species. Like look at the Quiggle, it's a nightmare. You couldn't just trace some other glove item? The worst part is that not only did an artist put this out and think it was OK, but someone approved it to be released for real money, as a random prize, that you can't even preview on your pet before deciding to buy it. If Blizzard or IntSys did something like this, fans would have dragged their staff out of their offices and beaten them in the street.
