This is super random and not really on topic anymore, but while I was posting here the other day I was trying to remember why I used to out UCs that looked "suspicious" and I just remembered.
For one, when you're a common PC-er you see all the other PC-ers warning people about illegit UCs and it just becomes something you do naturally too.
But why? Why do you feel the need to?
I remember now. It's not because you want to be a dick to someone who bought the pet, but you're worried that the user who will trade for the illegit pet will get frozen by TNT and not be heard. Because that's happened before. Someone who doesn't know the pet is illegit trades for it then gets frozen. And you know TNT, unless you're premium (even then) or one of their teacher's pets, oftentimes they won't answer that innocent user's ticket/s and then that poor user took a fall for no reason. So that's why many PC-ers out pets, at least why I always did.
Not to be a dick, we're just trying to protect innocent players from getting their accounts frozen.

but this never happens unless the pet is reported lol
because most of the pets on the pc are illegit and most of them aren't getting frozen
we all know that tnt is incapable of doing their job properly and investigating, they just need to fill quotas

we've been over this, it's been 200 pages. idk why people who have inherent guilt/fear after what's happened this weekend keep trying to justify their reporting as "PROTECTING OUR FWENDS"

..Did this 205 page thread teach you nothing? Nobody, or at least very little people would be getting frozen if it weren't for you reporting people. There are plenty of illegit pets that have been in circulation on the PC for a while and still aren't frozen. TNT doesn't have an all-selling eye that instantly makes them aware of every single illegit pet. It's the players that bring the pets to TNT and that's why people get frozen.

This is actually what I thought. But I have come to the conclusion that I was wrong. As long as the folks who are trying to trade or show off their illegit UCs in a smart way, I don't see the harm in it.

And not like it matters but fyi I never reported pets I just would warn people about suspicious-looking pets so they could decide for themselves if they wanted to go through with it anyway. Because I had been warned once about a pet I was trading for, but I traded anyway, and I still have the UC.

I've sold many UCs
I can't put a number on it but id say close to 80/90 UCs
I have a list of the names which I sold. Of those, id say atleast 70 are still unfrozen and most are PC active.
My point in saying this is that most of the time, PC detectives don't know the fucking difference.
The people who have been here for a while are much smarter and much more knowledgeable than any jealous dumb fuck on the PC.
I warn my buyers about the processes before selling. I give them all necessary tools to surpass the tyranny of the likes of Panther and Irish.
Ultimately, thats what they are. They sit there on their keyboards reporting pets left right and centre because of jealousy.
These people don't do it for the good of other people.
They do it out of jealousy.
They don't want other people getting better UCs than them, they want to be the rulers of their pathetic little world.
They don't know that most of the people they report and get frozen are fresh cheaters who don't know how to protect their pets.
They're either recently frozen or first time buyers. Those are the ones people like Panther gets. And those are the ones which have the hardest time recovering.
I recenty lost 5k in neo assets. Fact.
A large chunk due to TNT. Fact.
But they can't hold me down.
I'm still here. I'm still going and I'm still fucking up their shit.
But thats not the same for people who work hard and peddle out large chunks of $$$ and they earn what they buy.
This is justice for them.

You logic that people buy UCs then trade them is also partially flawed.
Nobody on here is fucking dumb enough to drop 300 on a UC Fae Draik or a Plushie Peo or Plushie Uni or w/e then trade it
Nobody does that shit. You don't drop massive coin only to downgrade your pet.
And yet those are the pets that get reported the most, because they stand out.
You have no excuse for that. Most PCers are sheep who follow in the footsteps of Panther and the like.
None of you do it because you're protecting innocent people.
And if you truly are doing this to protect 'innocent' people, don't bother.
We'll probably hack and destroy their accounts in a fortnight anyway.
Also, I heard Irish is running scared about getting frozen or losing her account.
I sure hope one day you get to know what it fucking feels like to wake upto your account frozen.

I bet there are people like Panther and Irish who out pets out of jealousy and stuff but I was just saying why I ME MYSELF personally did. Did as in past tense. And I just assume I'm not the only person in the world who thought the way I thought. People like me (if there are any others) are probably the minority. Because whether you want to believe it or not, there ARE nice people on the PC. They are very rare and often keep to themselves but they are there. They also might be a bitch in other ways but generally speaking they're not backstabbers or betrayers or jealous little kids like many. And it's because of people like that that I still am on the PC, or neo at all.

I don't know when I ever said anything about people trading high-end UCs they bought....
Also, I have woken up to a frozen account so I'm quite aware of what it feels like. And when that happened I was still just a kid so I was pretty fuckin upset (even though it was totally my fault that I was frozen).

Obviously whatever I say some of you long-time clraik users are going to not listen and see me as just some random newbie who came on this site, scared, trying to protect myself and my friends from the 'dark side of neopets'. And fine, if you want to think that way, go ahead. No one's stopping you. But for argument's sake I'm just going to say here and now that I am not a friend of Panther or Irish. I honestly only knew them as common PC-ers. I didn't like or dislike them because I never had any reason to until now. And I'm also new in the cheating world, given that I'm not even an illegit player. I'm just here watching and putting my two cents in on my own experiences.

Also, if you really believe that the majority of the PC follows in the footsteps of Panther/Irish, I'm actually laughing. Think what you want, but there's so much to the PC you must really not know. Real, longtime PC-ers don't give a shit about anyone else. They don't look up or down to anyone. They are in their own little world and are happy there. ^^
