Nostalgia coming through reading all @(you need an account to see links) 's posts and getting informed fully on both sides of the SAP situation with his extensive knowledge of everything. But I'll also say, there's always a way to bring people back to the game, somehow, some way

Seems like it, but that's a VERY small sample size. I don't have the time to run through thousands of accounts to get a better estimate. Also, do we know whether each account is only able to get SAP one time, or can you get multiple? If you have a chance of getting it everyday, who is to say some people couldn't get multiple on their account over the 31days of the advent calendar.
Even though it's a pretty small drop rate, you add that up across tens of thousands (a lot of people seem to come back for advent calendar) or even hundreds of thousands of accounts (not including shells that we illegit folks use) and there could be an INSANE amount of SAPs out there in the wild by the time the new year comes.



I hadn't heard of any of that. I just got peas not long ago, so doesn't seem like it's removed just yet. Still a very real chance for it to drop. I have seen rumors about reddit staff in cahoots with NT with regards to what items would drop in events so that they could sell them before they deflated. I'm sure it's all wild speculation but not entirely out of the realm of possibility. It's too bad JN got pulled into it, I think they do an AMAZING job with their site and have some truly talented people over there running things.

I'm sure that's true as well. I'd say that they have a right to be proud of what they put together though, they make a lot of things possible and have quite the impressive product there. I'm surprised everything they offer is free too. As with anything, it can go to your head, but I think the majority of them are just huge fans. There's always the select few who can ruin things though.

Just got pointed to LilAngel (SL13377) absolutely going off about this over on reddit. She also seems to be denying she's Lilangel but her name is Dawn and she has her neopets username in her discord bio so....

I don't know who did or didn't do what but the way ambassadors are speaking to the community they're meant to represent is not doing them many favours right now.

Kinda seems like responding to accusations isn't working out well for these ambassadors lol.

Whoever said the ambasssador program was a bad idea was right. I was hoping that it'd be a good thing, but this is a shitshow.


Also late reply, but as for why people hate Herdy, I think it's because he always comes off as very arrogant, he acts like he is better than others, and is very condescending towards other people. He acts like his opinion is the only valid one, which is why he in particular was probably a very bad choice for ambassador. I think people worry that he isn't gonna tell TNT what the majority of the players think, that he'll just give his own opinion and the forward ones that align with his. He barely even seemed to put in much of an effort to figure out what people actually wanted when it came to the SAP release. He said he kept a written tally of opinions on his notepad... then conveniently disappeared when people asked to see it lol.

His work for the JN Book of Ages is impressive, as is his knowledge of Neopets lore, but he has never been gracious or pleasant to interact with. That is why people aren't happy with him as ambassador, and I think his reputation isn't doing him any favors here.
