Usually you throw an infinitive or subjective verb after a pesar de.
a pesar de todo is correct in your ejemplo
I'm not fluent, but can hold a decent conversation; however, I'm kind of stuck on what to do in this one situation. In school, I learned that A pesar de roughly translates to "in spite of". If I want to use it in a conversation though, would I need to conjugate "pesar"? Or would that change the meaning of the idiomatic expression? Por ejemplo: Would it be... A pesar de todo, conozco ms espaol que mi familia. Do you ever conjugate the verb if it's in an idiomatic expression?
