I've had this happen with a RW once. I had it for almost 5 years, the pet had a really aged petpet (like 1300 days old) and it was involved in a reverse chain. I sent a ticket to TNT and they said nothing could be done about it. I'm not sure why they do it when it's been that long. Plus it affects innocent people too.
