Yeah they could really surprise us with something out there but they would probably be factoring the mass amount of players using these boons. I think something like the ability to use lab ray twice a day is on par with their ideas. (to some players this is huge but to others quite lame)
I don't personally believe the dude who was claiming what the boons were. No ads is a premium perk. The idea above about using the lab ray multiple times would make the lab ray cookie redundant. They wouldn't fuck themselves over on paid features when its evidently all they really care about. If they were to give out UCs they'd do it through the mall I would think, if something that elusive and sought after was gonna become available, they'd want money for it to accommodate that no one will buy clothes for em.

Honestly, this is the first year I'm really messing with this CC stuff, so I don't have much investment in it. I'll donate some every day to try and get some garbage ugly avatar. The odds of the "prizes" being total shite are pretty enormous, whether the one guy was trolling or no. It's new TNT.

With lab rays, they could still just make it allow you to zap 1 more time a day than what you currently have to still make those cookies relevant for those who get the boon and those who don't. I wonder if they'll just make some obelisk boons eligible to become permanent.
I wouldn't be surprised if they took the Obelisk boons at all lol. I really hope not, the least we deserve for battling this lag to clean their site up for them is something new and sorta exciting.
I wonder if our perk is going to be "less lag" because their databases will be a lot cleaner.
