I watched Life of Pi last night

I walked out a different man from that theater. Go watch it. One of the best movies I've ever seen in my life.

I saw the previews and it looks really good.
I remember having read bits and pieces back in HS but I honestly have no idea what it's all about.
Glad to hear that it was as good as it looks, I'll add it onto my list of things to see!

Had you read the book before you watched it?

No, never even thought about it. I'm going to try and get my hands on the book or if there is, "series".

We had to read it for my Lit class freshman year. I don't believe it's a series, but if it is I guess I have some more reading to do!

The first bit is a little hard to get in to, and it wasn't one I could read in one sitting or anything, it took quite a bit of time but it was well worth it.

The book was highly confusing to read, I only fully understood it nearing the end.

I went to the movies with some friends, and we decided to catch Argo instead of Life of Pi.
I liked Argo but I'd love to watch Pi soon.

    I HAVENT WATCHED SKYFALL EITHER

Skyfall is not that realistic in a few parts, but overall great movie, great bond.

Life of Pi is a fantastic read and i recommend everyone read it before seeing the movie. It's not long, 150 pages about. It does start a bit slow as essy said, but the story is fantastic and the ending throws a huge twist. Definitely worth the read.
