See I love this thread because I definitely always just like imagined a witch brewing things in a lab messing with chromosomes and mitochondria and shit.

I mean, the mitochondria IS the powerhouse of the cell, and this in itself is already magical, so you're not far off!

1. is the name of the protagonist of Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse, which I think was the most recent SMT game when I made the account
2. literally translates to "Nameless/No Name", since we're meant to be Anonymous

Charlie was the name of my parents Australian Shepard dog who passed away. She was a large lump of fluff. Super friendly. Sad writing this now… I almost changed my username after her passing, but I’ve kept the name in her honor.

I was playing Hades at the time and loved the idea of having a themed shop. I wanted to stand out haha. I was going to go with Charon at first because he is the shopkeeper in the game Hades, but I thought it would be much cuter to be Cerberus, the dog. I wanted to have an inviting aura and who doesn't love Cerberus?? The best three-headed doggo in the underworld. Charon is cool, but his skeletal appearance and man of few words demeanor felt uncharacteristic of what I was trying to go for. Plus, he mostly has a theme of black and purple... I wanted a red/pink theme so I narrowed it down to Ares, Aphrodite, Cerberus, Zagreus, and Hades himself to fit the color scheme I wanted.

Ares is far too war-like and sounds like he'd sell a weapon shop.

Aphrodite is the goddess of love, and I didn't want to send the wrong message.

Zagreus is cool, but he's always trying to escape the underworld. When would he have time to sell the wares he finds during his runs?

Hades is tough, cold, and distant. Certainly not befitting of an inviting shopkeeper aura.

Lastly, I had Cerberus. A cute guardian dog that just wants to make people happy and keep the underworld safe.

Alas, I became Cerberus.

I've read every comic i possibly could with her in it, and eagerly hope she might join the mcu in the future. I won't hold my oxygen though.

I just went with a referential username 'cause I'm pretty sure nobody actually remembers me from the time it's referring to, plus I'm not really here to cheat so I don't care anyway.
