While I appreciate your sentiment, I am in no way shape or form "like him".
This is gonna come across as hella cold but- rest in fucking pieces.
You cannot ever use your faith as a shield for bigoted beliefs ever, ever. He and his "church" are an embarrassment to a religion that preaches love and acceptance above all else.
Funny thing is why would God need worshippers? Truth, Man made religion to be followed!

Now, I don't have anything against believing in something. Do what you do, I'm not here to tell you what's right or wrong. On that note, I disagree with formal religion. Each religion believes in their own God/Gods, and we go to war on who's beliefs are "right". I think it's ridiculous.

I'm a speak my mind person, I was brought up in a religious family so I know what it's about and all religion is basically the same just different principles and rules/Values involved.
My above comment is just how I stand on the matter and if you look into our past it's quite valid I think.

I'm honestly the same, I see nothing wrong with spirituality at is core but it's a very private matter, keep it to yourself. Im just so sick of see all the Big Name religions bickering about who is right when their all basically different flavors of the same thing. plus all the money involved is hella sketchy. I was raised Catholic and correct me if I wrong but don't they preach against letting money control people and didn't Jesus rage when he went to a temple and saw a market place set up in front where people were too busy haggling over goats instead of worshiping....interesting.
I'm from Texas which is right in the bible belt and they are really being hypocrites. They go to church to brag about their jobs after at IHOP. $50 leatherbound bibles...it's so silly. Everyone here just assumes that you're Baptist and lawmakers and politicians use their "faith" to gain votes which tbh if anything is a sin that should be one of them.
