I know the event just ended (Oct 16th) but did anyone else stock up on the cards in the Happy Meals?

This is just an image off ebay but these were the limited edition cards available and was wondering if it was just me that got an insane amount of happy meals to break packs for cards?

I managed a few packs during lunch breaks at work. The set is ultimately pretty cute but given none of this art is really exclusive to the promo in any way I don't expect the cards to go up in value. Which honestly is fine given PTCG has been caught up in speculative bubble bullcrap for far too long anyway.

I'd be all over this as a kid. I recently had a look at my old collection and there's so much valuable stuff there that I've thought about buying packs more than a few times recently.

I truly am. Anything pokemon, hello kitty, pink, neopets LOL i just buy it

but yeah they do this once a year usually, or whenever they come out with a new game. but yeah they had packs of 4 cards in each happy meal for a month with 1 being a holographic (either one of the starters or pikachu)

also honestly the only reason i found out is because i order happy meals a lot and you have to pick what toy and when it changes you cant express reorder, so it said POKEMON and then i freaked out when i got it that it was a pack and just kept getting them delivered to work

like when you think about it, the happy meal is like $7 that i get (6 nuggets, 2 small fries, bottle of water, and pokemon card 4-pack)

given the value of each card, i probably made 1/2 my money back on average per card pack if not all the way on some pulls

I know US but I would be surprised if Japan didnt have a release too unsure about other countries i think they have their own IP law deals done

Singapore had this promotion in November. I only remembered about it on the very last day and ended up running to the nearest McDonald's to buy a Happy Meal
