So I was reading up on older threads from this forum, the one from the end of 2018 -- I just want to know, how safe is botting right now? Has anyone gotten frozen recently for responsibly botting (haha) with multiple IPs? Especially stuff like the Stealth Buyer and other programs that earn you a lot of NPs.
My buying times are 4000-5000ms+ and I never leave the program running for hours on end. How (un)safe is this with all the flagging going on right now? I'd like to know how everyone else's experience for this has been recently.
I'm just a tad worried about losing my main.

Yeah I know about it. Not sure how to prevent this -- buying a different VPN? Getting a dedicated proxy IP? For Nord that's just extra $$$, quite a lot of it too. I believe it's 70$.
Might just be best off buying a proxy Joe has recommended I guess
Recently got frozen for using a bot that I haven't used in a few years, but have never been frozen before that. Does anyone know if the freezing rates have increased over the past few years, and TNT have found more ways of catching out bots?

I have not seen any dramatic increase in the rates of freezing due to botting on Neopets. The most common frozen thing I see is people altering details of purchased accounts and getting caught after the fact because IP logging. DOB is not enough depending on which TNT fool you get, must know the original email as well which some try to pass off from the leak as the original email, but there's no way to know for sure that it was the original email.
If you were frozen for using a bot, it may have been due to a variety of issues, but bot behaviors vary from bot to bot. Advising which bot you were frozen by using may shed light on it, but usually it's user error, bad bot behaviors, old crappy bots sending headers from 2007. Tyler summed it up pretty much.

I personally do set up my bots to be very human-like, with reasonable break and 'sleep' times.
