I have started noticing more and more that people are putting things up for trade onsite with little to no intentions of actually selling. It is almost like they just want either the attention in the form of neomails/offers, or that they like wasting the time of other players. It just feels like everyone now thinks they have the big ticket item that they won't be satisfied of letting go of unless they get their ridiculously unrealistic asking price that they have in their head (because they won't actually come out an just tell you it) or they are just going to keep taking the OTBs to the power infinity, like it is some sort of ego-boosting fetish.
Has anyone else been noticing this, or has it happened for so long that it really isn't something people get annoyed at now? I never remember it being this bad, and with the economy already at a snails pace due to lack of players, I really have zero respect for people like this.

I've noticed it my whole neo career but I agree with you a bit that it seems to be more common now.

I just feel like most people on neo are time wasters.

Some people have yet to realize is that it's really a buyer's market now. Too many items, too little buyers.
Ofc this is different for the harder-to-find items (certain RiCs, extremely limited stamps, etc)

Woops mixed em up LOL
As a sometimes seller (when I can be bothered restocking), buyers have to realise that when they neomail with a bullshit offer that sellers are going to get pissed off. I have on more than one occasion refused to sell an item because the buyer was being a complete arse hat and wouldn't give me a reasonable offer. Re-sellers are the worst of the lot and are mainly the ones I have a problem with.

A posted Price would go a long way to reducing bullshit offers...Sometimes the only info I have on an item comes from old 3rd-party websites or pet pages. As a buyer, I do my best to give a fair price, but, without any idea on what the seller thinks is "fair", it is next to impossible to please them.
I would really love to complete my gallery, but, unless TNT decides to add some items to the hidden tower or re-release items, it looks like the final 5 items may never be found .

Thank god tnt raised the shop price limit. I hate the tp, its a fucking cesspool. I have had some lovely people who sell shit fairly, I don't make stupid ass reseller offers or any of that kinda shit so i dunno why dealing with people is mostly like pulling teeth.
