I play neopets solely for the nostalgia from years ago when I was obsessed and because I can make money off playing now (by selling accounts/ucs/nps). I played minecraft and other console/computer games, but never got obsessed really. I understand why kids nowadays don't play neopets..its more of a nostalgia thing now

I play for nostalgia too. It's one of the only things that has been consistent in my life.

I mainly still play Neo, like others, for the nostalgia. Unless Neo got a huge revamp, I can't see the new generation wanting to make accounts/play when they have iPads & more responsive websites. :/

My daughter play Minecraft too. When she isn't playing it she's watching youtubers play it.

My sister-in-law.. that's all she plays. Minecraft everything. She even has these ugly little plush animals that turn into food when folded out. I don't get the obsession with some aspects of it, but I love building ridiculous bath houses and large villas on perfect seeds. It's definitely fun.

Unless they sell to a proper gaming company the future is bleak.
Theres a lot of companies with the resources to do something with neo.

I've invested a lot on it though... and many of you as well. If it dies, it means a bunch of money wasted :/

Though it'd be a big investment, Neo would be pretty great on mobile.

Buuuut it'll never happen - though maybe one day we'll have a spiritual successor.

I'm just glad I was frozen before I had spent some real dough on the site lol
But the nostalgic value will likely forever remain.
