Many people use the word "queer" to describe their identity, in a very non-slur way. Reclaiming thing, you know?

Just what @(you need an account to see links) said, @(you need an account to see links) - many people identify as "genderqueer" when they don't feel their fit into the male or female genders. It is a reclamation thing, a slur is only a slur when it's taken in that context.
now all we need is a gender neutral/other option for clraik ;D
