I'm still not holding my breath that this is soon by any means (+ not buggy given how often their email change breaks), but am very very hopeful that we can stop being so fearful of losing our accounts!

The Edna quest tip was kind of... not really helpful. The users have known for years that three item quests have a chance to give you the avatar.

I thought that too but it’s making me wonder if the clue “eye” was a part of it? Does it need to include or not include an item with an eyeball? Maybe the amount of letters in the three items? Just some of my initial thoughts but idk what ppl have tried.

I thought JellyNeo had been collecting data on spells/items requested that yielded the avatar, but looking at their guide for Edna's Quests looks like they just have it as "random" when three items and see no mention of collection, so I wonder who it was I remember doing that. Watch it be something weird like the sums of the rarities of the items needing to be a prime number, or something like that.

JN did indeed have that. I was submitting simultaneously Snow Faerie and Edna quests to try and help them figure things out. I do remember Edna asking for 3 items when I got the av, and I think one of them was to be Rainbow? no quotes on me with that one. I do only remember doing 3 quests with rainbow items. took a long time to have to wait in-between quests though. I should try and find my screen shot.. might take forever, might be worth it, might not.

I also remember the rainbow thing, and then thought it was debunked as a rumor, but who knows. I wonder if they still have all the data saved from before they stopped collecting.

Aww, the year I get back into Neopets, they aren't doing Charity Corner. It sucks, but hopefully this /means/ they are working on far more important things, security included as they said. Just hope when 2FA is implemented, it isnt a huge mess like the password reset was.

The rainbow method I know of was "rainbow" appearing in the name of the spell, not any specific items.
