Ghost notifications?

Had been PMing with a few people today about different things with no issue.
Came back to my ck tab to check if they replied and I have two notifications for Private Messages - but when I click to go to my inbox there is nothing there. Tried a hard refresh, opening on my phone, etc - but the ghost notifications persist.

Are they stuck in limbo? Anybody had this issue before?

I think I've seen this were I've been tagged in a post that's been deleted.

But it fixed itself. Otherwise I'm not too sure why that would happen.

I just don’t know if I /actually/ got PMs because I don’t want people to think I’m ignoring them.
Never had this happen before. Maybe it’ll clear up in a bit.

Idk if this is TMI, but since PMs are moderated, maybe staff deleted the PM due to it being concerning to them or something?

I looked and it wasn't there ._.

I've been away for almost two months but finally back home so I'm able to go through and clear some flagged messages in our system. That's likely what's causing this issue.

Looks like that’s what happened. Had a PM tucked way back in there that I didn’t know was there until it was released. Good to go now, gracias!
