    Selling/Buying Active Accounts? (Question)

I don't understand the point in that. Like why do people sell and buy active accounts?
I get the buying/selling of rotting, forgotten, inactive accounts. No one's using it, so instead of letting it purge and lose all the stuff, let someone else have fun with it.

But active accounts...I mean isn't that kind of mean? That could be like an 8-year old's account. I know I'd be devastated if someone took my account at that age.

I'm just curious why some people feel it necessary to buy/sell active accounts when there are so many inactive ones out there you could do instead, without hurting anyone.

Active ones can be a lot easier to get in the first place in terms of cging or whatever method you choose, and it's easier to know who is a good target. With inactive accounts, a lot of the time you don't know how much they have, whereas actives might be selling a suap or something, so you know the profits can be great if you secure it properly.

I doubt there are many 8 year olds with a suap.

Its simply about business. Inactive ones get purged and are hard to come by. Active ones being readily for sale are cheaper due to the risks involved (them getting it back, getting frozen, etc). Most of us dont care about the person themself as its just a game. We have all been screwed by TNT one way or another. I lost 2 bill legit for profanity. O.o

    Ah, I understand that.
Er, I guess I just care too much about the person you'd be stealing it from. Like I said, could be some little kid.

But I guess if you're good at it and can target specific people you know and (dislike for example) that I could be more okay with lol. (People that could take it well--like it wouldn't be the end of the world like it would be with young players).

And you should keep in mind that most young players haven't had the time or resources to build up a valuable account and most active accounts people know of are taken from the boards, and all those users are (supposed) to be 13+.

Hacked or be hacked.. If you dont wanna lose your account, you'd be proactive in keeping my practicing good security ie, changing your email/pin/password often. Thats what I do at least because I care about mine.

I dont like people messing with actives either but you really can't stop someone from doing something

Eh, my bff was one. When I used to play as a kid, so would my bff. We were both totally legit and she was like BEYOND RICH. (Of course, she also had no life...)

And I mean, I've been screwed by TNT, but if I were ever screwed really bad, I'd just cheat in ways that would get back at TNT, not innocent (potentially young) players.

(Too big of a heart. Dammit I'd fail as a proper cheater).

That is a VERY good point. Okay, that makes me feel better about it.
And I guess if it happened to a younger player, they'd just learn from it and be more protective of their future account/s.

actives contain mroe then an inactive unless it went recently inactive.

you can get on an active and raid it for its items and pure. and let them keep the acct which to me is more important. you can complain on the boards about being hacked and some ppl would help them get the pure back
