I don't want Neopets to die :(

Coming back after a loooong hiatus has made me extremely sad. Sad to see how slowly boards move and items sell.
Even CK is a lot quieter than before.

I have so many childhood memories from Neopets. It's not easy realizing that all of sudden Neopets might close down and I won't be able to do dailies or train my pets anymore.

Dozens of new avatars added (e.g various stamp avatars, Brain Tree, Rubbish Dump, etc) while fixing others that were broken (e.g Lottery, Halloween Mynci, etc), along with 2-3 miniplots (one in the making), the TWR plot, 5 pets per account, more transparency (Hardtotame's boards), new colors (Steampunk, Origami, Toy), new Neopets merch (not doing so hot, but maybe in the future), Neopets at Comic Con 2018, and other things I probably forgot, as well as minor updates
I think all of this shows that the site still has future and they haven't given up on us yet

But I think that we still have some years, since TNT is releasing new content and revamping the site

Yeah I don't think Neo is dying any time soon. Despite the fact that they constantly are pissing off old players, they are still advertising a bit and putting in new features etc. So it's certainly not dying.

Part of it also going to be how they pull in new players. They're already constantly pissing off their old playerbase so they somehow need to advertise enough to replace those players.
Kids aren't going to put up with the captchas.
There's plenty of other games that they can play without clicking or waiting 5ever for a page to load.
If I get one more page talking about their meepits...
