Neat stuff about Neopets you appreciate/like/notice

People had an idea of a more positive thread in the "complaints" thread, and I thought I would kick it off. I know we have one about users we appreciate but since I have been getting back into the game lately I've noticed a lot of things in the site that I overlooked when I was younger.

Apologies if this belongs in spam or is a duplicate of something that already exists.

What inspired this for me was this Neodeck Card, the Guardian of Spectral Magic. It is pretty.

I personally love the shields we get on our UL's. It's super cool to see them update as each year/6months pass on. I actually look forward to seeing mine change xD

Considering that staff is spread so thin, I'm appreciative that the Advent Calendar is still an event that occurs. It takes a lot of work to come up with multiple unique items and a theme/animation/whatever for the entire month of December. The animated comic book style used this year was appealing as well. Even if the items aren't worth much and everyone's getting the same things, I still get excited to check it when the Holidays roll around.

I think I appreciate that even after all these years of playing the game, I still have something to do onsite, or a goal to work towards to! Even with events being cancelled or postponed, releases being meh, and the site activity slowing down, somehow I still find something to keep me busy. So thanks neo for that

I love this!

I recently came back (after leaving for like 10+ years) and I was so pleasantly surprised by the new paint brush colors. Stealthy, dimensional, candy, toy, woodland, chocolate, magma -- lots of REALLY cool ideas, stuff I would have only daydreamed about as a teen on neopets!

My mind is also completely blown by how many pets we can have now. I remember making some serious sophie's choice decisions back when we were only allowed four. There is so much character potential now, it's so much fun.

I appreciate to this day how truly huge Neopets is. Even though lots of features are lost to time, there is still so much to do.
All the actual pets aspect (feeding, customizing etc); games in all shapes and kinds (flash, HTML, role play like NQ); an entire economy and everything that derives from that (buying/selling, stocks, bets) and it's just the tip of the iceberg. I really don't think I've ever played another game that was that big and had everything.

I apreaciate how creative you can be in this game. I learned a lot of stuff while playing neopets, believe it or not. And with all the tools it always gave, i was constantly impulsed to learn and try new stuff, with a special mention to HTML and drawing -and cheating XD-.
Neopets will always be the perfect site to let my creative self be.

I appreciate the site as a whole and for giving me something to play for 20 years off and on. The site means a lot to me and nothing will ever really compare to neopets. The players, art, plots, activities, games, ect. I love it all.

I do wish TNT cared more though and would love to see the site spring back to life more than it is now.
