Lots of people getting hacked?

Did anyone who got targeted have a script blocker? That would support that it was a database breach.

There isn't a way for someone who gets into your account to access any credit card info on file, is there? (Premium, NC, etc) I haven't been hit yet, but that's the only thing that's making me uneasy right now

I've never heard of anybody ever touching or coming close to any of that info. Game account is one thing, but financial information is an entirely different ballgame. You should be able to rest easy.

If they were using a script blocker, they probably were not CGed since the script would be blocked and instead whoever did this probably hacked into the database and has a list of usernames. At least that's my understanding.

Okay thanks. I'm usually not that paranoid about Neo stuff, but I've never had a credit card attached to it before, so I just wanted to make sure. ♥ I know PSN has had issues with that kind of stuff in the past, so i always get that uneasy feeling when I dont know exactly why/how people are getting hit or targetted or whatever.

Ahh I'm with you no. You mean if they had a script blocker running then you could rule out a CGer. I misread. Yeah, pretty sure a CGer is not the culprit here

Just woke up and I am kinda sad they haven't told us anything but it seems like the frequency of attacks has died down. I imagine any new "I've been hacked!" are going to be people who just logged on since yesterday and are now seeing that their account(s) were affected. Regardless, I am hanging out on a young side account and just doing my usual browsing. Getting super tempted to kad feed, though... Maybe I'll go burn my time on an MMORPG I play since I'd rather not compromise everything. May even get around to all that art I've been meaning to do... And coding. @_@

I can say that I spent several hours last night/this morning browsing forums and none of my accounts have been touched so I think that it is probably safe to use your accounts, it's just a matter of whether or not you personally feel comfortable doing so.

With the rate of items dumped into the Money Tree, it can't be just one guy. I know there's a delay on stuff, but to be in that many accounts dumping that many items?
