After skimming the FAQ I'd advise removing wearables from UC pets before site maintenance. You don't want their wearables disappearing as things might be glitchy!
Some of the items my UC pet was wearing disappeared when it was converted! What do I do?
-If any wearable items have fallen off of UC pets during the conversion process, these items have been returned to the closet and can be re-applied.
-If any items are not applied to the pet, have not been returned to the closet or inventory and are completely missing from the account, please contact customer support to investigate this further.

Can't screenshot right now but TLDR a bunch of users are just now discovering for the first time their UCs aren't old enough for the old pet trophy

So I am guessing that you will not know the style you will get until you use it on the pet or dress it?
I am also guessing that if you can remove the style from one pet you can apply it to another that can support that style? Like clothes,

Yes! If a pet is already wearing a style, changing them again through the Styling Studio will cause the newest style to be equipped to the pet. The previous style will be unequipped and returned to the Styling Chamber, where it can be re-applied to another pet or moved to the inventory.
Users can also directly swap styles on pets that they already own through the Styling Chamber.

You choose a species and the color is random, but it can only be Faerie, Darigan or Grey at the beginning, and the Xwee only has a Faerie UC.
Ooooh there is going to be an old pet trophy!? Do we know more about it? I'm guessing pre first time conversion age?
I think I did see that they're including all sorts of different UCs that were not in the original pool (e.g., that grey draik reveal), so I wouldn't hold out for that. Pet has to be atleast as old as conversion day in 2007. 6116+ days old.
Can I double check, are replicas getting tokens? I know they aren't getting trophies which I'm fine with but fml if I don't get a token
