I actually get this. Like I don't get all /upset/ with a nty but I just think it's a ton more polite to say 'no thank you but good luck'. A little effort goes a long way IMO.

To me, I just interpret it as, "You're wasting my time, dont talk to me". If I was offering a baby kougra on your UC Faerie Draik, then I could totally understand why I would get a "NTY". xD

I HATE those people. even if someone offered a vbn yellow nimmo on my uc I would still say "no thank you, but good luck, friend!"

Not sure why the PC is curt.. I always remembered who those people were who were rude and never traded with them. In a sense, I did get my revenge because some of them would make "Why am I not getting any offers?" boards and cry about it.. I would be like.. "Teehee thats cus' you're a doucher". O

It used to piss me off when I would offer on a pet in the PC and all the person would respond with is "NTY".

Don't get me wrong, generally I do respond to offers with something along the lines of "Nice pet, but not what I'm looking for etc etc etc", but sometimes I can't be assed to come up with some bullshit excuse why I'm not interested. LOL.

No matter how long their post is, it's still a no. Although I do agree that some users can be kind of sassy when they respond like this, I don't think it's something to get upset about. Anyone who makes a board on the PC bitching about this automatically goes on my "people the PC could do without" list.

From the BD chat - Forte, dubs, Mike, Nathan, Bill, Delta, firedraik, infamoussoulja are all decent guys.
From the PC - i know a couple who seem nice. but its very difficult to say.
