Marmite is like the UK version of vegemite right? is there actually a difference between the two?

I've seen vegemite chocolates being sold by cadbury a while back, I wanted to get some. D:

Weird. Definitely sounds like an acquired taste

Waffles with mixed berries and cream - but only very occasionally - gasps at all those calories.

If you ever eat it, don't go nuts with the spread. You're not meant to lather it on like peanut butter (at least that's my personal preference). You just ever so lightly spread it over so it's kind of a salty snack. I suppose it's like salted chips, get the right balance and they're enjoyable but overload it with salt then it would taste terrible.

Eating isn't necessarily about calories; it's about how your body uses them.

Set up a cheat day when you have good stuff then back to your normal diet should work fine once a fortnight or something like that then you have something to look forward too.

Exactly. Regardless, calories are about quality and not necessarily quantity. Something can be healthy and still be somewhat high in calories and that's okay as long as your body uses them right

Finding the right balance can be difficult, if it wasn't, none of us would struggle with weight, either being too big or too small. I tend to hoard up a deficit on a day on which I intend to indulge, then allowances can be made later. This is not ideal, but works for me. My issue was always setting the bar lower and lower - the new low becomes the new maximum - these are the thought processes that lead to eating disorders. Now I am older and wiser, with others that need my attention, I have less focus on myself and those thought loops have faded. So much of it is related to self esteem, being comfortable with, and accepting of oneself. But this is really off topic.
Back on topic, for a healthy snack, I love mangoes, but it is so much easier to rip open a packet of Twisties

Addit. I have tried vegemite chocolate by Cadbury. I am Australian and I do not mind vegemite spread thinly on toast, but the chocolate was disgusting. I returned my 2nd, uneaten block to the shop for a refund.
