I find it hard to take things seriously when statements are made that are not based on anything other than widespread rumors/lies/misinformation. D:

I do like how through this whole board, the only creationist view has been the traditional Christian view.
Where my Gnostic Christians and Hindus and all the other religions with creation stories at?

I think most participants on this thread are referencing religions and scientific evidence/theories with which they're familiar. (you need an account to see links) @(you need an account to see links) acknowledges some other religions (you need an account to see links).

One of (you need an account to see links) to this topic occurred on page 7. I also like the kindness associated with (you need an account to see links). I also like where @sygyzy stated, "(you need an account to see links)"

As a Communist, I have to go with Creationism. So much epicer & it doesn't involve Sciency stuff. + I believe in the bible wholeheartedly.

    I am agnostic atheist.
Regarding the first post (not sure if the OP is still around), the theory of evolution occurred over a billions of years, humans did not just magically appear instantaneously to what we are today. I don't understand how it makes sense that humans are too complex for evolution, yet how does it make sense that a "higher being" created us instantly?

I'm a major in biomedical science so I think I've studied science enough to "believe" in evolution. The word believe is a bit weird to me, though, since I don't "believe" it is true, it IS true. That isn't to say that I'm totally against the idea of their being a god, since there isn't any evidence to disprove god. Therefore I am agnostic atheist. I simply don't believe in god, unless there is cold hard proof for it. The Bible isn't good enough for me, sorry.

I have a degree in chemistry, and minored in biology while in college. I guess you could say i'm a scientist.

Evolution is in fact real, proven, and an ongoing process still acting upon every living organism. Evolution has even occurred in our lifetime (not with humans but with many other species with a more rapid birth rate and shorter lifetime). There is no debating this. I am not saying there is no god, all I am saying is that evolution is a proven concept.
    - a scientist

If you have any questions about evolution or any argument as to why it might not be real, please feel free to message me, and i will gladly drop some science on your ass
