This one site had this same policy of we don't do refunds on recurring payments and when I didn't need the service anymore I called and canceled it 2 weeks before my new re-payment.
2 weeks later I got charged $50 from it and I was like whoaaaa I canceled this remember? and they politely refunded my money the next day.
I want to say fight this but I'm scared TNT will be like "oh......nvm we'll cancel it and freeze you on top of that!" Like the assholes they are. Sorry about your troubles, I hope you get a refund, that's too much money, they won't miss $69. :/
Asking them to transfer things over wouldn't work either. They'll pull the "oh this account doesn't have the same email address" bullcrap they did with my friend.
And with them making how much money each day in NC Mall sales, I highly doubt they'd miss that 69 bucks at all x.x
Not sure how well this would play out, but you could always contact your bank and see if you can't get the charge reversed that way and just ignore the ticket response. Unsure if they would notice and THEN forward to ice your account for the year or whatever, but it may be an option to consider. EDIT: this is most probably a stupid thing to do, as the premium would still be active on the account, but again idk, i have trouble believing there is no way they can remove premium from an account. might be totally wrong, however.
At least, I suppose, they're offering you the refund, although the condition is still ridiculous. :/ For some reason I have trouble believing that they have no way to remove premium membership from an account, and if that is the case that's kind of... really short-sighted on their part.

I have an extremely hard time believing they can't remove it either. They remove it at the end of a pay period, there's no way they can't remove it now and give me my refund. Their condition is the biggest load of bullshit I've seen in all the years I've been on this site.

Why not ask them for the refund and since they can't "remove" the service, can they just change it to a monthly premium access?
So then they'd just charge you for a month long duration, return the remainder of the cost of yearly, and keep premium on your account for one more month.

Just politely ask if they could change it from yearly to monthly, and charge you on a monthly basis so that you can afford it easier.
Then just cancel it the first month xD
Minimizes the costs in the short term at least
