My hope is that this is gonna bring change to Neopets. It may not be the Neopets we've once loved and had known since 1999. It's time for Neopets to move forward.
Hoping they just need some new people and that's why they fired so many...
Good news though is pulling off cheating/transferring stuff is going to be ridiculously easy while they don't have staff. Abuse this opportunity to the fullest

Even if they end up hiring new people somewhere down the road, the things we know and love about Neopets will be long gone, as the new people will have no idea what Neopets was once like. Plots? You can forget it. The last time they tried to make a plot without a staff that knew anything about Neopian plots, we got the Atlas of the Ancients... And that was through ownership with a much greater budget.

Just checked Jumpstart's website, and they are hiring new people... They're looking for a 2D artist - neopets maybe?

In all this years Jellyneo has been around, we should already know what they are suckers of TNT, and the information and links they have made with their site and Neopets.com was mainly with members of the TNT, which they also met and visited on their offices.
I'm not surprised that Jellyneo is giving a very grey and down tone to the news, since they are being carried on by their feelings of "We know this people, this people have worked on the site for many years and this people give us information, and now they got fired".
Sadly, not many users can see this, and rely on Jellyneo as a main source of information.
The news they have shared where written with a very subjective and personal tone and feelings, which I belive is very negative and has been very negative for neopets users, who now think all is done and there is no hope.
So fuck Jellyneo.

You're wrong here.
They laid off these people because they were no help in improving the game where it needs to be. Simple as that.
JellyNeo does not have insider information. The unreleased images they are always posting can be easily found with some simple URL tricks lol.

I honestly think the way that JellyNeo chose to announce this is what's causing a lot of this en mass pandemonium. It's a fansite, sure, but it's practically an extension of Neo, and it's one of the only-- if not THE only-- outside news source many Neopians have.
So when The Official Fansite says, "The JN Staff would like to give all of TNT a big thank you and congratulations on an amazing 15 year run. Despite a little complaining along the way, Neopets shaped a lot of us, and it's amazing it lasted as long as it did," a farewell that's a few lines short of being an obituary... Yeah, I'd panic, too, if that was the first (and only) thing I read about this! I'm glad I learned this VIA clraik first, but most of Neopia was not so fortunate.
I know the JellyNeo staff was close with TNT, and I can only imagine how upset they are, on the staff's behalf, but I think they had a lapse of judgment when making the post read like that. JellyNeo says panic? Yikes, PANIC!!! This is NOT a drill!!!!!
Come on, JN. I know you guys are upset, but keep it together. At least wait a bit before publicly going doomsday on us.
(As I preview this post, I see that someone else said a similar thing. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so...)
