the outfits are cool, but idk for some reason the maraquan gives me the heebie jeebies, idk it just has decapitated head vibes for me. the original art/pose looks way better imo, i dont understand why they dont mess around with maraquans shapes more

absolutely love the original maraquan gnorbu design but not feeling the TNT redux version. I really wish they would have stuck more with the artist's concept and not tried to logjam it into the converted gnorbu pose.

The un-shorn outfit is my favorite release here, it's hilarious.

The Gnorbu releases, plus the victorian NC items just shows that they are capable of releasing pretty decent things.

Yeah I don't like it lol. It doesn't make sense to do that to the Gnorbu. I think some kind of whale/porpoise would have made better sense for it. Some kind of sea mammal I think.

I personally like it.... It is pretty good coming from Niantic. Plus the fact that they took the design from someone else means they are open to ideas

I'm intrigued by the fan design approval process, especially after someone mentioned that it would've been nice of staff to toss in a gnorbu morphing potion. I wonder if anyone has ever tried negotiating a smidge?

Just something like, "I'm so thrilled that you want to use my design as inspiration. Would it be possible for one of the rare item gifts you mentioned to be a gnorbu morphing potion? I'd love to make one of my pets a maraquan gnorbu once it's released!" I have a hard time imagining staff saying no.
